We welcome visitors aboard the Pacific Explorer to our city this week. This is the last cruise ship coming to Port Lincoln for the season.

With the Easter break coming up, a visit to Axel Stenross Maritime Museum should be on your ‘to do’ list. Learn of the story of Axel Stenross and Frank Laakso and their history of wooden boat building. Enjoy walking through their original living and working quarters. Admire the many fine examples of wooden boats from bygone eras. Immerse yourself in reading the stories and hearing of the maritime history of Port Lincoln and the growth of its iconic fishing industry.

We look forward to welcoming you. The museum is closed on Friday 29th March and Monday 1st April but open on Saturday afternoon from 1pm-4.30pm and on Sunday from 9.30am-4.30pm.
