Museum Renovations
Funding enables renovations
The Verandah area of the Museum is now fully enclosed, thanks to generous funding provided by the Bendigo Community Bank and the Port Lincoln Rotary Club.
Verandah gets a revamp
Glass louvres and a large sliding glass window replaced old PVC blinds along the Southern side. The kitchen is now fully lined. A small bank of wall cupboards and a healthy lick of paint completed this area. The final addition was a large rangehood acquired secondhand, which enables us to utilise the BBQs in the space.

New look reception area
Our reception area has a new counter with a striking aerial view of the Museum, updated sale display cases for dvd and book collections and souvenirs. The 30-seat theatrette provides an ideal setting to introduce the treasures of the Museum. All of this was made possible by the generosity of the Lang Foundation.
